Performing Arts

BIG LIGHTS, BIG STAGE, BIGGER STARS!

On Superbowl weekend, the Superbowl wasn’t the only highly anticipated show going on!  Castro Valley Center for the Arts was the grand stage for three Castro Valley Elementary Schools; Palomares, Proctor and Stanton, for their opening night of the adaptation of Disney’s “The Jungle Book – Kids!”

Performing Arts is back in the Castro Valley Unified School District available to all schools! Under the planning, passion, hard work, drive and organization of Amy Ramos, Stanton Elementary Parent Club President and the great support, resource, assistance and collaboration of the CVUSD; CV Education Foundation; CV Center for the Arts and the Parent groups from the elementary schools that performed, we were able to obtain the professional teaching and direction from the Bay Area Children’s Theater.

Each school put on two shows over the weekend after a 10-week after school rehearsal program on each campus before their big performance on the Big Stage!

Sign ups for next years production will happen in the Fall of 2019!
